Well Actually Done
Almost two years ago, we raised enough money to pay for the construction of a well. I’m proud to announce we just received proof that our well is complete! Actions speak louder than words and while we didn’t dig this well, it was our action that made it possible.
You can view our project report on Charity:Water to see more detailed information about the well we sponsored. Our contributions were more than enough to fund our well, so we are actually co-sponsors on a second well too!
Needless to say, our accomplishment brings a massive smile to my face. Best. Website. Community. Ever.

It says my comment is awaiting moderation so I’ll just be really upfront and general. There has been spam occuring in the comments section and it’s obnoxious and rude. People have asked them to stop but they continue to spam. Please ban them.

I’ve recently joined your site and have talked to a commenter by the name of _OHHI_. This commenter, _OHHI_ has recently told me the line, “So yeah, go f*ck yourself,” without the star of course. I was hoping you’d be willing to talk to this commenter; seeing how children do go on the site. It wouldn’t be wise to allow this to go without notice (in my opinion).

Hi Mek, long time commenter on MLIA though I haven’t been very active in recent months. I just had a thought on how you could at least somewhat impede the comment spammers. Just add the word “fullmalls” to the list of words that can’t be commented and hey-presto, no spam until they figure out how to get around that. So yeah just a suggestion, hope you see this. Bai.

Normally, I wouldn’t comment on the blog, since I don’t have anything really relevant to say other than, “Woohoo, wells!” (Especially awkward because I couldn’t donate. :c) and on top of that you probably actually check this fairly often and that makes me terribly nervous because you’re Mek. Hi, Mek! I’ve had this question rolling around in my head for a while, and I can’t remember if I ever actually asked you or anything, and it isn’t a cynical type of question. I’m both curious and concerned. Do you ever resent us? (“Us” being the people who regularly{ish} comment on the site) I mean, we aren’t the nicest, most appreciative group in the world. Sometimes we’re downright needy and just nag you. And it’s usually about something rather petty. I hope you don’t, of course, but it seems like an important question to ask. And if you don’t resent us, is there anything in particular that we do fairly often that bothers you?
